    It is now! :D One trunk of the two I cut had thorns. Most seen in my area are of the thornless hybrid variety and are landscape trees. First time I've cut one with thorns and only the third I've seen around here. Here's the thread A Thorn in my Side

    Could be, the weights in general are pretty accurate overall but there are obviously variables, it was not designed to measure a stack that tight so you will lose some weight to gapping for regular firewood built in.
