IMG_1314.JPG IMG_1315.JPG i"m not sure as to what this is, other than shoulder wood for next year. It split very easy and very heavy with water weight. Any guesses

The second from the left split in the pic has a center pith so tree of Heaven it is.

    Splits very easily.

I cut a 20" TOH in my MOL's house in town a many years back. I put the brush on one of our "nature piles" here and I had those #$%^&* things sprouting for years and had to keep spraying them... PITA I never did burn any of it in the wood stove, by the time it dried I used it for bonfires. I still find a sprout every once in a while. Our state forester that retired a couple years ago would go ballistic and insisted they be eradicated as they are very persistently invasive.

I had a very special helper this morning! It’s a treat when I have some help and my beautiful bride of 23 years was extra nice! I think this is the second time she’s gone with me since 2008.

Great pic. Very apropos for the FHC with the mound of splits in the pic!

Always nice to put faces with the user name.

Had I still been married it would've been 24 years in July.
