nothing is set in stone yet, the deal isn't made and I haven't even seen the truck in person yet, BUT, I might have some pretty alright loaded truck pics later this week assuming the deal goes through and I get my first dump truck Thursday evening! gonna be pretty sweet I think!

Yesterday was a beautiful day in the woods. The scrounging was a little slim, but the dog and I managed to rescue a larch log that somebody had go the wrong way on them. With enough cable and snatchblocks we pulled it out where we could get to it. Before the tree was felled, somebody used it for target practice. I must have hit 20 or 30 bullets in the bottom 10’. Severely dulled a 32” chain. I should have known. The bullets let out a little squeak when the chain went through them. I didn’t know what the heck it was until I tipped the rounds on end to split. I am grateful for the firewood and any day in the mountains is a good day.
sorry to disappoint, no loaded pics yet, just got the truck this morning, she's cherry! here in a month or two once I put insurance and a license plate on it, im sure I will have plenty of pics of it loaded real nice with some oak or hickory, maybe some black locust if i'm lucky!
unsure, it has removable sides, currently set up as a 8x17x3ft bed, holds about 7 ton "legally" doing the math, 3.1 cord stacked level with the sides, other than weight you could fit almost 5 cords on in no problem
going to have to trim off about 3 feet of the flatbed, 2 reasons, one, my machine is heavy enough that it lifts the front of the bed up as I load the machine, and 2, theres about 4 feet between the hitch and the back of the bed, so right now I can't even hook a trailer to it I also need some ramps, atleast 12 foot, won't be cheap but worth it will probably build a removable chip box in the near ish future as well, and use the steel from the cut off section of the bed to make a bumper (lack of bumper, TDOT doesn't like that) already adjusted the clutch, fixed the marker lights, need an engine stop cable and a license plate, and it's off to the (slow) races! For reference, thats a KX040, weighs around 9800 pounds, truck seems to hold it fine, didn't get to test drive it since it sunk right there when I tried to pull away with it, yards a little soft yet!
