Much nicer and bigger bundles than I've been seeing around here. Like everything else, seems they have gotten a lot smaller.

Beautiful day yesterday to be in the woods. Took a sycamore tree off the edge of the field behind mother in laws that farmer wanted down. Followed that up with a stem of a double cherry that had rotted off at the base and was hung up in a neighboring oak. Next was a small walnut that blew over in the past year. Next was the rest of a cherry that was broken on the field edge that I got part of last week. Finished up with most of the stem of a maple that the top broke out of last year. Time for another day of splitting. 2 dump truck loads of rounds is about all I care to split in a day! 52E53F02-7FCB-452F-9E01-BA4C6A272AE3.jpeg 9D15B384-005C-4312-BADB-CC4F6386CD16.jpeg 05AFBB9B-D4EA-453D-83EC-D0159B721BE5.jpeg

8x8x16" makes it .60 cubic feet which is the same as the "designer" factory made bundles in front of big box & grocery stores. I used to be .75 cubic ft. but like everything else I made them smaller a few years back.

Thanks for the kind words, but not my racks. I did stack the bundles in there though.

Load of red/sugar maple rounds with some dead ash to top it off.

It has been a really long time since I posted or have been on the forum. Was working on the 2025-2026 wood stack.

Made me think about all the old OG's on the forum and how much I learned from them. So if you're still here then thanks for all the help.

Don't have to get in to unload can reach all the wood with a long handle hoe!
