Beautiful day to go grab a load of wood from the woods. I’d cut most of it this week and it was laying. Just had to halve some big rounds to get them in the truck. Mostly beech with about half a row of maple On the back.
It's a 10 model lariat. I think someone must have ordered it special. It holds up a load without squatting like a 3/4 ton. Just not alot of room with the 5.5 foot bed. I've had it stacked over the cab all the way to the tailgate and it handled it fine.
I didn't want a 4 door short bed but couldn't pass this one up. I bought it in 2020 with 117,000 on it with no flaws for 9000. Figured I better jump.
Certain award for you with that load. Way to get after it. Of course id be loading it to overflowing too.
A trailer load of firewood & 81 fence posts. I probably put 3 - 4 times that much firewood in the burn piles, I just don’t have time to work it up & can’t leave it in the field.
