Last bit of the many loads cut today.
Cut split stacked roughly 2 cord today.
The cold Temps these past few days made for some easy splitting.
The jeep played tool box the truck did the transport.
Head phones in, Bob Segar blasting. A couple tanks of fuel burning through the saws. 7* Temps this morning.
    What a good day

Cut a load for my buddy.
Good couple hours spent in the woods.
Crisp cold morning at 8* degrees
It was a nice surprise for him.

Nice load of splits there. Any heated handles on the saws?
Been cold here too. Mid teens with a good wind yesterday. Great to be out in it cutting for sure.

    Sundays haul. IMG_20220123_161509367_HDR.jpg
036 broke on me. Pull start side of the case fell apart when I tried to start it. So I'm looking for used parts.

Thats aggravating when a saw breaks while cutting...been there, done that. Some nice looking rounds for sure. Hopefully you get it fixed soon.

Yes. I dulled one yesterday. Switched to another, dulled that one and resharpened. Dulled again then called it quits, hence my smaller load yesterday. That and the BL was really buried there too.
My extra chains were looped around the extra bars at home.:emb:

I have 5 Stihl chainsaws. Paid around $400 total for all of them. My dad gave me his 180 and 044 12 years ago. Bought 026, 036,& 066 last 4 years. Haven't had to do much to any of them until this last year. Age of rubber parts is showing up. I need the 044 and now 036 worked on. I just keep pushing along cause I still have one more saw working.
