Thanks. Got it all split up over the weekend. Ended up with 2 full 275 gal totes and maybe a half. Lower temps but humidity was higher. Nice not having to deal with the big stuff for a change.

A load of pine that's been sitting in my driveway since last fall. Been so busy and have so much other wood decided to get it out of here. Listed it on FMP and CL to see if any takers. If not I may just put the effort in to cut and split it up. All solid and I don't mind burning pine.

My two favorite words! Where'd you get those? Looks like white oak? Firewood or project lumber?

Borrowed a small dump trailer this weekend. Got a project to cut up this dead oak. 32" bar did not cut all the way through at the base. About 8 foot up a 24" bar doesn't quite cut it.

I did not drop this tree. I did not like the looks of the hinge wood but I was told a guy that cuts trees all week cut it down.
    IMG_20210706_120144497_HDR.jpg

Got 5 sections 18" long cut, split, and loaded into the trailer before a thunderstorm stopped us from working.

On the way home my son and I found some limbs someone lost going to the green waste dump....so we picked up the branches and dumped the brush.

Went a head and loaded up the trailer the rest of the way with some nice oak and ash sections that were just too good to be ground up into compost. IMG_20210710_133254694_HDR.jpg

Going to cut and split Sunday if the rain holds out.

Have you burned Japanese Maple yet Chud ? I’m curious to know how it fares in the stove since there’s so many of them up here as yard trees.
