What the heck is a bush cord? Why can't people use proper terminology? Face cord and full cord are the legal and proper terms.
In Ohio cord and fractions thereof are the only recognized terms. Can't sell by the face cord (1/3rd of a cord would be ok) rick, rack or truck load are also prohibited. Weight is also allowed.
I understand, but note your “face cord” is also not legal in most states in the Northeast. I tend to like the variations here - like visiting a foreign land from the comfort of my kitchen. I only sell cords, whole or a percentage of.
Here is CA only cord or fraction of. I do sell a buddy a load of oak rounds at $100 to fill his truck. He’s always happy and it’s fine with me.
I know...not a full load, but I was able to grab a little more black locust from the score I found earlier this week. I think the homeowner sensed my enthusiasm and realized he had something of value. He decided to hang on to the rest of the wood to try and split and sell it himself. We had a nice conversation and I finished packing up what I had already quartered and I was on my way. Between the 2 trips I ended up with about 1/2 -2/3 of a cord. I included some of my go to hoarding tools in the pic including my new peavy I picked up in Maine last summer.
Nice! Ive learned to control my enthusiasm when ive scored BL. Its not easy for us hoarders though! Talk it up too much and they catch on. I think jo191145 lost a load that way last Fall. Nice looking peavey btw!
Its actually a T shirt (gift) folded around my back brace. Couple years ago cigarsmokingzombie challenged me to to my impression of the "Buzzsaw" character from the Arnold Schwarzenegger movie "The Running Man" So i took him up on the challenge mrfancyplants photo shopped my face on him too!
No messing around for that to be an afternoon load. You must be going better out there! That state land is working out well for you. Is there a limit to what you’re allowed to take with your permit?
