Oldest boy got chaps for Christmas that Jon_E sold me. He ran the 180 got 2 tanks and we got a truck load.
It cuts like warm butter... Well maybe not quite like that. It doesn’t cut to bad, all the embedded soil is what’s hard on the cutters as well as the wood it’s super dense.
Sorry to bump off track, but is that a true round log home or the log siding? I see the log rafters and was curious about the construction. My Dad had build a square log home the year I was born and I grew up there. His best friend built a round log home around the same time. There are so many cool construction options these days. Nice trailer too. I have homemade sideboards and headache rack on my truck that I made from Honey Locust. Nice job.
The log home is D shaped logs. Curved on outside and flat inside. It is 40 years old and has its challenges. It’s has its positives and negatives.
Now for a picture of Both the truck loaded like you usually load it with the dump loaded to the top of the new sides! We’ll be waiting with anticipation!
We had a small ice storm this weekend. Wife's work had 3 cedar trees fall on a fence. My oldest and I cut up everything and got a small bit of firewood for the future.
Had a measured .99 cords in a couple stacks. Loaded it and then split 4 14-16" rounds of post oak, and added it. We will deliver it Wednesday morning, about 50 miles from home. Load like that lasts them 2 yrs.
