It was allegedly supposed to start raining/snowing last night so I was trying to get everything I had cut picked up. I just backed both trailers in the shed, no precipitation yet so I am heading out to unload them shortly. I will have to stand it up or flip it over to see if the suspension/axle have a weight stamped on them.

You go with the thought that it didn't break so it is not overloaded, just looked like it.

Added a cheap jib crane to my small utility trailer. Had to extend the mast 6" to clear the side rail. Welded a 3/8" plate with a 1/4" rim to the 3/8" C channel frame of the trailer. Sturdy as all get out! I have been needing to demo a fence between me and a neighbor that finally blew over . I wanted to replace the posts in the same spots so I used a post puller I had made to remove the huge concrete slugs around the posts that had snapped. I used my log dolly to move the slugs to the trailer. Just about maxed out the dolly, no way was I going to lift these by hand. On the 500lb boom extension the little boat winch did not even grunt let alone using the jack. Will possibly help with loading large rounds and certainly with loading 10' logs like I was a couple weeks ago. Pretty pleased with it so far. concrete1.jpg .

I’m hauling the wrong kind of wood. My buddy and I have been cleaning out some trees around his house. My dump trailer is full of cedar trees, brush and some popular branches. I’m hauling this load to the dump. The trailer has been loaded with trash and wood debris and hasn’t had much rest this year.
When I plug in the charger I use a rubber band put my “Remove Before Flight” trailer key ring on the shift lever. This is my reminder to unplug before I move the truck. I have only ruined one extension cord.

My wife had to get the food bowl and get the cats out of the trailer. One was on top of the tarp and the other was under the tarp antagonizing the top cat. It never ends.

These are some pictures I took shortly after the fire at our local blm single track trail 103055DF-71B0-40B7-AF25-5EE4631E322E.jpeg 23DE007A-BB1F-4D59-9EAD-2BF18DBFA07E.jpeg A61B5289-A942-423A-B499-6FB519CCD975.jpeg
Yep pretty heavy. I moved in from the country into town 7 years ago, so am safe from the fires, but the immediate area got hit with the carr fire Two years ago and zogg fire this year. Luckily my cutting area was unaffected. I did work the burned area for a few folks I knew, on their property. I volunteer for a few trail crews, it’s busy with clean up work often due to falling trees etc.
