Some of you have some serious balls for loading the amount of weight you have on some of those trailers. LOL! Hey, if it works, it works.
Guy test drove it today and made an offer. We agreed on a price and he should be picking it up tomorrow after work. Sad to se it go, but the guy is a firefighter and appreciates the inline 6 for a wood hauler.
Frees all well and good until ya have to move 2 loads of punk wood just to a ranger load… Do more with a DOLMAR
Made a couple trips to pick up a fresh windfall. Loada the Yota x 2. Ran a couple of Homelites that I was working on. 2.5 cube XL-1 was all in on today's haul.
A buddy of mine offered me a deal where if I buck some logs, and split them, I could take half. Two hours of work and I brought this home. Poor D50. I think I need a bigger truck.
I get about 60 cubic feet of wood in the back of the Tacoma .With good Saws and Splitter it makes for a enjoyable early morning of wood cutting! The Tacoma has air bags with 60 psi in them , and 60 psi in 8 ply tires .
As long as I didn’t care much about that cap, it was always fine. It’s when you are trying to be extra careful you or a bonehead buddy will break a window out! I love not having to tarp a load, or strap it down. That said I don’t currently have a camper. Nice loads guys! Keep up all the good cutting and splitting!!!
22 month old blow over pignut hickory i cut on Tuesday. Still have trunk to buck and take. Didnt want to overload it!
Front and rear of the canopy on my '92 Yota are Plexi now. Too many steep and rough roads. I have custom cut pieces of door skin that I slide along the sides when stacking to the top. More just to save the screen on the side sliders. But, they have certainly saved that glass from blowing out.
First run off the year. We're going out again today. I needed a new chopping block, or it was starting to rain, and we just chucked it in... Either way, that's over half a cord in there with "all my stuff" that stays in the truck...
Thank you! I try to get my money's worth out of a load. With just the saw and PU as my power equipment its usually easier to buck and load.
