This is a mixed load of 2 year old splits that I gave away today. My son asked me, didn't we need that? I told him that we do, but not for a couple of years and we could make it up. The place we were giving the wood needs it in a week or two. He understood both points. 1- that I have been working hard to get towards that 3 year plan. And 2- that they needed it more than we did. So, it was a proud papa moment on multiple fronts. First because he has been listening when I talk about getting further ahead. And secondly that once I answered his question that he went in the house, changed his clothes, and asked to come along and help.
Not a picture of a truck load, but of a trailer load of black locust my father cut for my Christmas present.
Michigan new year 2020 Took the jeep out again for some wood. New it would be muddy. But didnt plan on getting stuck. Had a buddy come pull me out with his jeep. Would be nice if it would freeze up over here. Nice cherry 30" cherry tree. Have 3 more loads to get but don't think I can get out to it. Bummer
