I'm good with it! Not sure how to go about that, just designed it on Custom Ink...

Here's one with a little more art.

It will hopefully sooner than later. I've only had it a year, looking this. I've had people laugh at me.

I have a nice bed for it. I also scored a 08 or newer tailgate that has superduty stamped in it, plus it has a backup camera and tailgate step. I need a hood which wont be hard to find. I also want to get 08 rear bumper. Before I do all this I am doing head studs. I want to have the major mechanical stuff done before it get painted.

20191006_195341.jpg Here's a picture of my 08 Super Duty with the 10k dump trailer full of pine and oak several years ago. Buddy who ordered an Ideal Steel the same time as me decided to move, and left the stove with the old house and sold me the wood for a $100. Sorry cant see the whole truck... Hatchetdancer, I noticed the green ribbon magnet on your tailgate...

I have a very similar magnet on my truck. I lost my brother 6 years ago to Lymphoma....

Good looking load you got there! 20191006_212824.jpg

IMG_0014.jpg This is what comes to mind when I hear head studs. I'm working on picking up a Sam Wyse built 4r100 for my 7.3 truck. They all had weak points from the factory.

I'm not looking forward to doing the head studs, but I have probably done worse. I'm also going to further complicate things by painting the frame and underside of the cab while I am doing the head studs. The 4r100 was a major weak point with the 7.3. There sure are a lot of 7.3's out there doing work still.

The 7.3 doesn't make enough power to hurt its self without serious work. Probably why they run forever. Full bolt ons and a 100hp tune will only get you around 325-350 at the wheels.

Everyone likes to poke fun at the power a 7.3 makes, but they are on par with the cummins of the same era. A 7.3 also holds the 1/4 mile record for the quickest and fastest powerstoke, not bad for a dinosaur. I like the power my 6.0 has, and the sounds it makes.

nevermind the fact that they are dead reliable! Of all the recent generation diesels, it is still the most reliable. I just wish mine wasnt so damm loud!!!

I once towed a Ford cabover firetruck minus the engine, but still with all pumps with my 7.3 wrecker. Lots of people questioned my sanity over that one.
