Great to see you putting some oak in the bank, not just easy come easy go ash and maple.

 

Not a truck, but did scrounge some poplar yesterday, didn't know it was poplar at the time.

I have about 1.5 cords of oak that's been seasoning for 18 months, and will have another 1.5 put up within the past 4 months by tomorrow.

Wish I could find some more ash! That ship has sailed for me lately.

I've managed to get out and cut 4 or so truckloads in the past 3 days. Trying to beat the heat.

Yesterday's haul met my axe and maul. Lots of it was fresh and stringy. I had to earn those splits.

Maybe? The beer on the pile of rocks just looked very familiar.

 

My friends mom and Dad needed a small hickory removed from their yard. It was maybe 14 inches at the base. It was starting to rot so I just cut it and tossed it in the trailer. I’m not going to mess with it, I have too much other wood that needs split and stacked. It did give me a chance to run the 261 and it is going to be a great saw.

I'm working on clearing a houselot , plenty of wood hauled out so far and more to come , I stopped in to see a friend of mine , told his young fella to come get some wood for his girlfriend's parents , he showed up with truck and trailer
