No. I sold it to a friend about 4 years ago. He started a full restoration. Last I heard, it was moved from NY to NH in pieces. I'll have to get in touch with him and check on his progress.

I love to burn thick Doug Fir bark. It gives a high even heat, coals up nice and lasts a long time!

That makes sense , since it evened in a fire presence ecosystem. Burn resistant and once going probably good density to coal up.

I should add that it's from the backyard. Thinking of giving it to my best friend, honey locust, mulberry, ash and a little whatever.

I'm not known as the brightest bulb in the box, still have more to split and running out of places to stash it (should have at least 3 years worth). Add in that the city only allows 1 season worth of wood, I need to try and get it cleaned up. That load was split last fall and thrown in a pile.
Still have lots of work to do and this will give them some heat in another year. I don't think I'll run out anytime soon.

Thats a lot of wood in that little aluminum boat. I'd be scared of a 1ft wave.

We scrounged up a load of maple , drove 40 minutes to the lake , steamed 9 miles up the lake , unloaded at the camp and blocked it up lol

I was finally able to get back out there!

Guy across town had 3 oaks come down earlier this week. Bucked up two of em ans rolled them down the embankment....finally not UP for once! A smelly red, and not so smelly white. Left about another truckload behind for tomorrow. I'll get the last tree later.

About 1/3 of a cord now that its split and stacked. 20180707_135105.jpg
