Saweeet! I couldn't do it...use a brand new $60K (+) truck for a wood hauler that is...unless it was pulling a trailer load of wood...or it was a company truck
Thanks all. It maybe a while before it hauls wood. It is replacing my 08 that bit the dust. It was a good truck. I’ll miss it. The pic is what it will be taking over. I guessing that it is considered a loaded truck pic.
Me and Scotty Overkill droped about 14 trees for an elderly lady that lives by him. Shes building a handicapped accessible addition on the back of her house. She was worried about some of the large oaks up on the hill that were leaning. So she asked if we could cut down any and all big trees that could possibly hit the addition. Finally got them all.down and cleaned up, the weather was a real damper on us getting it done but we got it. These are some pictures from Friday. My cousin from Footlong Milling and Excavating took his skid steer over to the property and I was helping him retrieve the logs from the woods. Here's some pictures of a load that we took out, and what's left to get. It doesn't look like it but the logs are 18" to 30" in diameter and up to 16' long. My cousin estimated that load to be about 14,000 lbs. We just had one more load to get.
It's an old picture, March I think when it was still a little cool. I meant this day as in the day the picture was taken, not as in today
I,m not sure if I posted these here or not. I haven't been posting much the last few years. Changed jobs, then picked up and move to Las Vegas, NV. Not much wood cutting or burning here. From the old days in NY.
