I have no idea what car your talking about.?? I use to read car and driver and keep up with that stuff 15 years ago but not so much now.
Depends on what year. The new dingo's are on the same chassis as the grand Cherokee, which is the older Mercedes ml SUV chassis. They went away from the Dakota chassis in 2010 model year.
And anything newer than that I dont know. I use to drive an 07. Thank god out was replaced with a chevy. That dakota was just junk
Disssss carrrrr. Most were 2.7t twin turbo 6 cylinder models. The v8 is super rare. The most I've ever seen for sale across the country is 8. Hers mine almost exactly, but this one has the standard v8 wheels, mine has the optional wheels. Here's the near unobtanium rs6 avant. Paul Walker RIP had one of the only ones in the states. Here's an older rs6 avant. And the current new sexy rs6 avant
I think this deal with the campground might work out pretty good, the guy called last night and told me which campsite to find the wood, so I took the car to work today, and stopped by on my way home. Yesterday the campground guy asked me what length my stove took, I said I prefer 18",all the logs today were multiples of 18", a few were too long so I had to tie the hatch down for the ride home. Next time I'll remember to bring my saw.
Hey you do with what you got, but man it would seem to be a lot harder stuffin that wood in there and then getting it back out. With the trailer it's pretty simple throw it or roll it in, pull it back out, no worries about tearing something up,. Heck I can remember strapping two by fours to the side of my car and holding them on the way home
There's real wood in my Audi, but only on the dash, door panels, and console/ shifter. Mmm burl... Iirc its walnut.
You guys with the loaded car pics are killing me. I've got a 3/4 ton Cummins 4x4 that's not had a load of wood in it for years. I'm lucky enough to cut wood at home. It gets hauled with the tractor, occasionally the 4 wheeler. Y'all are hard core.
If you were closer I`d throw you the keys to my truck and you could use it whenever you needed. That`s too nice a vehicle to be hauling wood!
Those last two parts are a showing of how good the people on this site are. Realistically, if they were closer, not only would they let them borrow their truck, but help fill it full of wood and probably split and stack it too.
Here's a pic of my car loaded up from a couple of weeks ago. Those skinny tires on the trailer sunk in my buddy's back yard. And here's a pic of it today after I rotated the tires.
