Just try to keep steady, and certainly can’t go as long as I used to. When I get a call from my arborist friend I try to go even if have to take multiple days to process what I get. 90-120 minutes max in a day actually working loads seems to be a good amount for me as I just turned 60. More cutting behind than ahead, but hope to enjoy as I’m able and not be angry when I have to stop.

Its now official Greg. You're the FHC king of pin oak. Nice looking stacks. Does that area get all day sun? Sweet if it does.
Not full sun but I would say this time of year from about 10:00am to 4:00 pm, as the area is surrounded by woods. The trees are far enough back that it gets a decent shot at the sun. I am interested in what the stacking will do in terms of drying. I know it helps maximize the space as compared to the big heap I used to do. And I also hope it will avoid the avalanche effects of a big stack when I move to lean to. April will tell !
