That would be an exercise in futility for sure! I'll do the splitting in the spring. I'm intending to cut as much as I can this fall and get it ready to split in the spring.

Thought about piling it, after it's split, down by the waterfront. :picard: The winds would really help out the drying process!

Raining today and tomorrow. Maybe I can squeeze in a chainsaw gas tank worth today between the raindrops depending on just how wet the logs are.

The rain never showed up other than what fell before the work bell. It just started sprinkling a bit now.

But, I think I did squeeze too hard. Feels like a pulled muscle in my lower gut. (no, not that low....)

Today's progress. You can see it is dry outside then.

We're hoarders and all of us are doing the same. I dont see it as killing my body, i see it as using it what it was intended for. Only problem is i feel more used every day and more so when ive done some firewood making! :tree: :saw: :axe: :stacker: :BrianK:

The temps were in the upper 40's, it was dry and I let 99 know "it may be a one gas tank day today" ;)

I'm going to have to put a new chain on tomorrow. :headbang:

I don't and by rights, shouldn't be doing that much. Period. As soon as I stop moving, I pay for it dearly.....
