If there wasn’t shade I wouldn’t be able to process through the summer. Along with a major drought it’s already been pushing 90. I’ve got to get a big hung up pine on the ground today. Not looking forward to it.
Here’s my job today. At least there’s a power line on the backside. I did not have starting a forest fire on my bingo card. Hopefully it is an uneventful drop and chop.
I know you’re saying wow that guy must work strenuously 12hrs/day, do pull ups and drink liquor only top firewood sellers can afford. Nope, just a simple man with a plan and enough experience to be dangerous. Time for the pi shower.
So, I’m confused (not unusual)…..I can’t figure out what kind of Oak is CO? I’m familiar with white oak, red oak, water oak…help an old guy out please?
Thanks! Now I can go about my day without that question buzzing around in my head. I guess if there is any of that here I’ve just never run across it. Much appreciated!!
Should be CNO or CHO, in my humble opinion. CO has my mind go to cottonwood to start and then Colorado. Stupid brain.
