Live at the 2018 N.E. G2G!

I had a great time meeting everyone yesterday! It was funny trying to remember all the names, and you had to give both your screen name and your real name. Twice the memory challenge for those (like me) already lacking in that department. I learned that the "internet friends" is a real thing.

 

I had life stuff to take care of yesterday but I did check on some of the places to stay Well Seasoned mentioned early on and those looked booked up when I checked. Curious if it was from FHC members or just normal for this time of year.

 

It was a treat meeting up with all of you! I don't think I've ever been surrounded by so many large, helpful men. And I really enjoyed bonding with my fellow female hoarders and wives of hoarders. I wish I could have stayed for the fireworks. I hope all of you campers have some coffee in you by now! Someone post the group picture, please!

Backwoods Savage it was very nice chatting with you and I especially enjoyed your letting me know about the correct way to run a splitter I wouldn't have expected it any other way and I'm glad I finally got the real story about the wet oak at your gtg and saewoody thanks for manhandling those poplar rounds up on the splitter we got it done even if we were doing it wrong

Scotty Overkill it was great to meet you and watch your tree killing expertise, and thanks for letting me run that monster saw of yours, what a trip.

bear 1998 it was fun talking with you about G-burg, I'll let you know next time I'm in the area, and what an experience running that brand new ported Husky, so sorry I missed the brisket.

fishingpol I was really looking forward to talking with you, just ran outa time and I missed the pizza too, next time fo' sure.

As veteran of 3 GTG's I want to say those of you who have never been to one , you need to . You will meet some of the best folks ever , and you will truly have the time of your life .

 

It was nice to see some pellet heads there too

 

Looks like a great time was had by all.

But then again, firewood, fellowship, fires, and fireworks. What's not to like.
