    Not knocking LEO either.

But, lets face it, just as with every other profession, there are some that just don't belong!

I will and I was one for a time in the Federal capacity! Most police are Tyrants! They forget they "work" for the tax payers! They are there to enforce the law, not make it up as they go along! It's all about the $$$ and I have proof of this! Drive through South Carolina or some of those states, get caught with Large sums of cash and it is immediately confiscated because they automatically assume it came from drug sales. What of you don't like banks? What if you sold a car and was going to another state to buy another? Yes, go to you tube and look it up. Go google it, it's everywhere! This is what "control" looks like and the more laws on the books, the more their head gets bigger and bigger. Big government is "control" not freedom... Go look up the LAPD's motto, "to protect and to serve". Nowhere in any law, constitution or statute does it "require" law enforcement to protect you! Can you call them and say, "stand in front of my house and protect me". NOPE! Also, why is it if you lie to police, it's a felony but they can lie to you all day long to get a confession or what they want?

Technically in the eyes of the law in Maine and in most states you broke the game laws. You need a signed paper in order to dispose of that Moose head.

Police also forget they took an "Oath" to support and defend the Constitution of the United states, the one the "People" wrote that starts off as "We the people"!

sorry for the confusion ,my horrible crime of '' illiegal impotation of malt liquor '' (that's what the ticket says ,i still have it somewhere ) was in maine i floated accross the state line in a canoe . the equally vile crime of selling taxidermy was in mass ,i did it anyway and will continue to do so until it is gone ,i dont care about the law it was a large collection and is almost gone . on poachers i could look away if someone really needed food but if you do it just because you can ,or kill and leave it to rot or kill for commercial reasons than in my opinion that person is a lowlife maggot and thief

I also want to be clear on one thing, I Respect the police that do it correctly and use their brains they were given! There are many great police officers out there but there are just as many @$$holes equally! I had a Maryland State Cop pull me over once doing 71 in a 55. As soon as he got to the window, I apologized and said I realized I was speeding but trying to get back to Norfolk Virgina before it was to late. I was in the Navy at the time, I handed him my DL, Insurance, Registration and military ID, he instantly "threw it" back in my window and said (I DIDN'T ASK FOR THAT)! then held me there for 40 minutes while he wrote me a $135.00 ticket! This was in 1987. Yes, Thank you @$$HOLE!!! That was a lot of cash out of my pocket then...

There's no law regarding owning a still. You can have a hundred of them in your yard. Until it is used for something illegal there isn't a court in the world that would consider that pile of stills anything but a pile of scrap metal. You have to prove intent.
Many municipalities require a permit for operating a distillery of a certain size. Not to own one. For safety reasons.
Same with a scale, until you use it illegally, it is just a scale.
The original context here was home use. All this superfluous blather is just that.

Maybe I should have a case of Corn Flakes on my list.

If I were to make moonshine I would need them.
A couple of you in this thread will get the reference. :D
