Honestly, if they only have Gold's, I wouldn't commit to a lot of them. They are ok but I would sooner go for a cheaper good hardwood pellet. It's always better to try a few bags and see what your stove likes before committing to a whole lot. Most of us have been burned at one time or another by not doing that. This is of course just my opinion.

I personally don't think the Gold's are that great for the price. You can easily get as good if not a lot better pellet for far cheaper than what those pellets typically go for. I'm not talking all softwood just the Golds in this instance.

Thanks for all the positive comments. I feel giddy all over finally being one of "those guys" who step in chit. I recently decided to pull the trigger at home cheapo for stove chow, glad I didn't. The free storage will help, as I can bring home 10 bags at time and the Mrs won't complain I over bought..,.......again.

If you can't find a coupon on eBay you can always go to the post office and grab a 10% off movers coupon. HD accepts them even if it's a Lowes coupon. Always nice to save a couple bucks.

As we have upped our supply again this year, we have started to take on many new dealers, mostly in eastern NY (Hudson Valley, upstate), NJ and even eastern parts of PA....so you will start to see more of our products available in areas we haven't been before. We are signing up new dealers almost daily in those parts and trucks have started to roll out. Unlike some other manufactures, we don't expect to run out of product this season (we didn't last year either) and with a higher volume of supply, we can now expand our coverage.

slvblkk is certainly entitled to his his opinion (even if it is wrong.....:D).......which is why we have 3 different types of pellets....Like Baskin and Robbins ice cream...something for everyone......

Agree with Steve. I burned both Golds and Ligs last winter. Golds I would not buy again. Ligs I would. Given the choice, I would stick with those PTLs you found at HD.

Doug with the plant being down so long are you guys pulling product from somewhere else? You have got to be very behind in tonnage there.

Thanks for the endorsement as I finish up a "little" grape juice this evening. I think the lady on the phone said everyone is switching to Easy Blaze. To everyone, I'm not offering our product to every dealer 10 miles apart. This is actually our first full year and plan to do it correctly for a long term engagement in the market. Sorry we aren't on every corner however, if there is an area market you would like to see our products please let me know.

It appears softwood was not readily available in those areas based on the retailer calls we've been receiving. You will find Easy Blaze in the same areas. Trucks are rolling out every day to the North East PA, Jersey and Hudson Valley Areas.

Been a few years, not sure how they fared in the Hurricanes of 2011 & 12. Might have to go that way soon.

Yes, You still have the SYP and DF mills providing supply, But how are you filling the Platinum bags if the mill is down?
