NEWP has already told some dealers they will not be able to fill their 3rd and maybe even thier 4th quarter needs, Oh thank god. Where choking on newp up here
Spoken like a true pellet wholesaler. And you're entitled to your opinion. But with $$ being tight for a great many in this country, I think there are WAY more people that have their calculators out than you want to admit to. The price of HHO went down here AGAIN......I could get it for $1.90/gal if I was still burning it (and I'm in NY!). That price, along with your prices on pellets, makes it a "no-brainer" for people wanting to save $$. Oh, I also have seen WAY more (used) pellet stoves for sale than I ever have. But like I said, you're a pellet wholesaler.
Excuse me... I am a pellet manufacture or wholesaler if you please....my customers are dealers.....if you are going to back hand diss me....at least get it right.... See I can loosen up .....lol
Like I said earlier, with sales up over 100% YTD, if this how it is going to be going forward cause oil is down ...I don't have a real issue with it. There are always used stoves...maybe its just more people trading up ...since more people are using stoves, it would make sense that there are more used stoves.....but what do I know, I'm just a wood pellet sales man....
All good now, They got ditched in Jersey with no connection flights to bradley, left to fend for themselfs. Luckily my wifes sister a traveler. So they rented a car and drove back. They'll be calling them and looking for some comp the morning. The United clerk told em to take a train and walked off. My SIL is pizzed and she'll get even.
I know a lot of dealers had ZERO carryover last 2 years. Maybe ordering extra heavy ? Kind of like ordering extra snowblowers and shovels, snow plows after a hum dinger of a winter ?
We have been cranking up production with our 2 Easy Blaze brands always produced and shipped from our mill in VA. Here is our Super Premium pic right out of the cooler and before conveyed to our 550 ton silo. Oh yea we sceeen before storage and again before bagging . What if I told you we blend some Doug Fir into our pellets this year????
Wasn't aware that Douglas Fir grew in VA........? Good looking pellets, but some seem just a tad long. Has bridging even been an issue...Just asking
They flew United????? No wonder. I had a similar experience coming back fro Chicago a few years back. Flights got all screwed up, landed in Wash. DC at about 10 pm to catch a connecting flight to NY. Us New Yorkers missed the connecting flight by about 2 hours, but they said no flights until the AM, and walked away. We went ballistic and started yelling and making a big commotion in front of the United desk. They tried 3 hotels to put us up.....first 2 said "no....United doesn't pay their bills". Finally Howard Johnsons took pity on us......even fed us at no charge. I'll NEVER fly United again....EVER.
These were before the silo which we air convey so gingerly however, the long ones length are reduced in the process to a nominal 3/4-1" pellet in the bag. Doug Doug Fir doesn't grow in VA but clean never used residual blocks from lumber yards make their way to my mill. We keep them indoors with my dry residuals. They are as clean as my SYP buy very blond. A pellet produced with the best of the softwoods.
