Got a couple hours splitting and walking arm loads across muck to the shed. I lifted a few rounds before I remembered that the points on the tongs were really sad. Didn't dig in at all. Got the grinder out and pointy'd them up… lots betterer… sticks gooder. Then, I noticed I still needed to get vertical 2x4s on the end of the shed. Off to the "end of the shed 2x4 store". Put them in. Did some mo splitting (I'm likin' that thing). My honey growled a message to me that I ought to stop and get her garden cart tires so they don't go flat every week… :emb:… so, took em' off and down the road I go. Bout that time, clouds were moving in… had to pack up… and… I noticed it was gettin' awful hungry out…

Getting better with the boom and tongs. Can stick em and set it on the splitter base plate easily now. Splitter's doing a nice job too. Might be able to "just split" next time… ;):axe::axe::axe:

    Lookin good :)

Sounds like you got project ADHD... When I'm working at my house the same thing happens, can't seem to focus on getting one thing done without working on 3 more.

Just picture me in the middle of the night sleep deprived and strung out on coffee asking if you want the wood. Probably not a good sight.

Sorry for the nightmares. I forgot to mention dirty and shining a bright hardhat light in your eyes while asking. I am like a dirt magnet.

Got in a couple hours of splitting this morning. Spring is officially here. These guys were very much excited about the heat… until I gave em a drink of Raid.

    100_0001.JPG

2 more tanks thru the splitter, and I think I'll have the rest of this split… then, move down to the wood I pulled this spring.

    100_0005.JPG

    Gotta stack this first.

    100_0003.JPG

Time to open em up and let em breathe.

The sheds didn't sag as much as I was afraid of, from the frost this winter. I still have trim I've got to screw down across the front.
