So I I only got an hour in the woods in this afternoon . Not ideal, but it's something. Not the best stuff, but I have been driving by this old beech for two years . Top was too far gone, but got a gator full cut and split in an hour. Got some larger beech coming out tomorrow and maybe some ash. It's the dead beech with no top justvright of center in the background of first picture .
Woodsnwoods , I've found that even sub prime beech is still really good firewood. Good job, that's a good amount of work for an hour.
