SVO, to my knowledge was only used on the 2.3 turbo Mustang. SVT was first used on the 1993 Cobra. SVT is still in use today.

Yep special not super. And you sir have knowledge way surpassing mine. I play a car guy on the weekends. And it's been since the late 90s and early 00s that I kept up much on this stuff. Thanks for jumping in on that bit of info. Many don't know that ford even built that car. And again I was wrong it wasent blown in the traditional sense with a super charger, it had a turbo as 94BULLITT pointed out. But shows that the block (which I'm sure was cast different on that car) can withstand some pretty serious pressure , pumping out that kind of power.

I use whatever they have at Menard's when it goes on sale for under $5 per gallon. It seems to work just fine. My bar stays cool while I am cutting and that is my main criterion.

WalMart was out of the SuperTech bar oil, which is thin, gray and smells like 90 wt. gear oil. I found that TSC had County Line brand for the same price ($7.99), so I went and bought a gallon. It's thin, gray and smells like 90 wt. gear oil.

Experimented with a 50-50 mix of Tall Timber all-season and new vegetable oil. My Husky 450 seems to be a slow oiler. non-adjustable. had good luck so far,,,
