Here's our princess, F-150 XLT 4x4 with the 5.4 guzzlematic (Triton) I'm not sure how much wood was on there, but the front end of the truck was pretty light. Stopped and go no problem, just too much weight behind the rear axle. I usually cut to rounds and stack up.
I love those first Gen supercrews. Thirsty, maybe a little, but beyond that and a spark plug or two might strip out, but those are solid trucks. Plus, you'll never get rust on yor bed sides.
I had a truck that would squat like that. I always saved the really big rounds for last cause you could practically roll them into the back.
It was literally out with the old in with the new. Picked up a new to me 2015 GMC SIERRA on new years eve. It was sad to see my old Silverado go, but I'm really liking the new Sierra. Old New!
She's an excellent driver. Just hang a treat outside the windshield and she floors it all the way home!
This is my 97 Ram 1500, 318 engine with a long bed. It has been over loaded a few times. It does a great job, but now is relegated to wood hauling and taking trash to the dump. My son loves to ride in it though.
