    I have been wondering what all us DIY guys have made for pokers
    and ash rakes and such. Ill start with mine. The one on top is an old garden rake that was pretty bent up. I cut a bit out of the middle to make it fit through the loading door easier and then welded the remaining sides to a hunk of rebar. It works pretty good for raking coals around to make them flat on the stove floor so more splits fit in the stove. The one on the bottom is simply a piece of 1-1/2" angle with a hunk of rebar welded to it. I use this to push all of the ash to the back of the stove for shoveling out, leaves a pretty clean floor o the stove for after sweepings and thorough cleanings.

    LETS SEE YOURS!!! :ithappened::ithappened::ithappened::ithappened::ithappened::ithappened: 20160103_113724[1].jpg
