I sure hope that burger I ate here was angus not human. Rented a Razor in Lake City Colorado tomorrow we do Engineer Cinnamon passes maybe American Basin if we have daylight
We had a freaking blast on the atv. I think it would be safe to say we had more fun than this guy had coming down Cinnamon
Beering at home. Checked the oil on the bikes. Son Josh’s 2002 VTX 1800 has 41000 miles and used about a cup. My bike 2013 VT1300 Stateline has 10000 miles and did not use a drop. Our trip was 4400 miles. I thought we would do about 5000 but had one snow day in Granby and the other day we rented the ATV. Colorado has some of the greatest motorcycle roads in the world. We did many roads that we have done before but they do not get old to this flat lander. Our only casualty was sons bike burnt out a headlamp. $20 at an auto parts store we were back riding in 5 minutes. zoom zoom zoom We love the quality of our Honda’s. They never let us done and to long riders that is a big freaking deal
I forgot to add, somewhere in wide open of east Colorado twice I ah opened er up. Both times my engine cut out at 99.9 mph on the GPS speedometer After some internet research at home, Mother Honda put the speed limiter on the VT1300 séries because this bike has so much rake I’m good with that but must say at 99.9 mph my bike was very stable no probs shimmies shakes wobbles nothing
2014 Harley Davidson FLHTK Ultra Limited. Just shy of 8000 miles on the clock. Bought it July of 2019 with around 4000 on the clock. Been a good bike so far. Really comfortable for my wife on the back. Came from a 2008 Kawasaki Vulcan Nomad 1600 which I sold after purchasing the HD. Prior to that I had 3 Honda Shadows and a Suzuki GS650GL. This picture of my Harley is from this spring on a trip to see the Smith Rapids Covered Bridge Last weekend was the Tomahawk Fall Ride here in North Central Wisconsin. The other two photos are from the ride we did on Friday from Butternut, WI to Mercer, WI, stopping at Lake of the Falls County Park. Leaves are certainly starting to change around here.
Traded my 08 Kawasaki klr650 With 32,700 miles for a 2015 Suzuki gw250 with 8,800 miles. More reliable, more practical, still have my zuki dr200 dual sport for off-road.
I think this will be the last of the Fall colors, 11° for the low tomorrow night... Lots of smoke today from the Creek Fire south west of Yosemite NP. OOPS!
