I was just funning - I have serious issues parking by backing in (I can back it fine, just not aim it or figure the angles ). If possible, I pull head in and back out - that I have no problem with.
Big dealership that participates in the Ride New England contest some, but not all, New England dealers participate. Get all 25 stamps and you're in the raffle for a new Road Glide. That's a $25K prize. Only about 250 people make all the stamps so that's pretty good odds. It's fun, just do Caribou Maine early in the summer, because I did it one late September and dealt with snow on the ride back south.
It is great to have that card as a way to help pick destinations. I cannot participate in it this year although I have tried (and failed) to accomplish it in the past.
Dennis ( Backwoods Savage ) has some dunes on his property!! Great time at his GTG a couple weeks back!
I've completed it three times, won nothing, but it always makes for a few fun rides and then one adventure up to Caribou. Last year was a bit more difficult as they added a couple of new CT sites one way down low in Stamford CT and another in Danbury CT.
I thought they have had CT on there before - but maybe not those two. The year I tried it, I took a couple of days and went down to RI to grab 1 or 2, and then CT. That was, I believe in 2014.
Another International Female Rider Day in the books. Yes it was rainy, we road anyway. Actually, the 1.5 hour ride only produced a few spot showers/sprinkles. Got soaked on my way home (rain pants seams always leak when the saddle gets full of water. Fortunately it was warm, in the high 50's, so no problem. Got home and about 10 minutes after pulling the bike into the garage, the sun broke out and the temp soared to high 60's. Some of the bikes lined up pre-ride. My bike is closest to the camera. The group of ladies who rode - pic taken after the ride Hoping to stay dry riding to/from this morning's HOG meeting
bogieb- Top pic.....who's the bearded lady? Sorry, resisting myself- difficult Aaaaand...are you in the bottom pic? Or the resident photographer? If the latter, we have something in common
I spent more time cleaning than riding it today. It was due a good cleaning. Even the back wheel got scrubbed this time. I had my early morning putt around the area then in the afternoon I relaxed in the garage with the bike and soap bucket.
NUB, made by Olivia. Cameroon wrap I think. Nice smoke with a 7&seven with Pandora playing in the background, no wonder I took my time and gave the fat pig a good scrubbing.
I remember now. I ordered some nub knock offs and they were just a little too much for me. It's been a few days since my last cigar and a few weeks since my last order. Prices have gone noticeably higher so I've been slowing down.
Husband of the lady in purple (our Road Captain). He was Assistant Road Captain (along with 2 other guys - all with communications) I'm in the bottom picture - the dorky one, 3rd from the right.
Ahh, he's a big softie (well, if he likes you anyway) and has cooked our LOH group a nice roast before.
Headed to Augusta Kentucky on the ferry. We will head over to cincy and visit some friends then head back.
