Oh man, that really sucks!! I rode the scoot to work today, 1st ride on the new tires. Unreal difference! I think turning effort was reduced by 50%! The old tire I took off the front was manufactured in '06, it was rock hard. And the rear tire wasn't the correct size (190/50 and should have been 190/55). Combination of the 2 made an incredible difference. I'm a happy camper!
Took this Lady out for a ride today and then promptly wrote the check. Pretty awesome when you can buy this much motorcycle in this condition with 30K miles for under $6K. (including a pristine set of the OEM pipes, and the original seats) OMG the whole bike is "like new" tight, and spins up better than any others I've ridden and I can only blame it on these 2Bros cannisters. They are holding it for me until I get my current bike sold and gone which was supposed to be Saturday, but it looks like the snow will prevent that from happening. Grrrr....
Left @ 7:40a.m. and returned about 350 miles later @ 6:20. Was eventually led down a dirt/mud road with snowy spots to see Boulder Field. Here's some pics. Started out @ a breakfast meet at EphrataFirstSundayMotorcycleRally (4 on the right) Then we lost a friend and gained another, then headed to Hickory Run State Park to see rocks. Much worse than seen. Can't believe I rode down that chit!
So what's up with boulder field? Is it a glacial field? looks like Karl left his mark....thank you karl.
Yep. 100% natural. 400x1800'. Hickory Run State Park - Wikipedia We have a similar field of rock in an offroad park we frequent called... rock creek, which is about 1.5 hours away. Here's our heep crossing it (several years ago). And yeah, thanks a lot Karl.
