Tuneboy used to be what everyone used for Triumph until TuneECU came around. I think a lot of the newer stuff has blocked the use of such programs. There are some folks currently trying to crack Triumph's security. I don't agree with having to go to dealer for re-tune after exhaust or other modifications. Given time, I'm sure they will get it done.
This in my 2010 Raga gas gas 280. Clean and fresh from a full service. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Just made an offer on this old Honda. https://www.facebook.com/steve.lebl...04924.1073741912.592019923&type=3&pnref=story
Have a friend that got a Valkyrie in early 2000's (I think - long ago anyway). He loves it and has ridden it everywhere from NH to almost the west coast thru the Midwest and from Canada down to SC. He loves it; very reliable and plenty of power. Oh, doesn't hurt that it looks good too!
That bike looks great for the mileage! Someone either kept up on it really well, or someone spent a good bit of time shining up for sale!
That's great news. Previous owner kept it in excellent condition for ya! Lemme tell ya (from experience) seeing the back wheel that clean says a lot. If it wasn't kept that way, you'd have pitting and an unsmooth finish. I think a love affair has just begun.
Oh she is sweet. I've closed the deal today and already purchased a couple of small pieces of bling I need to make it mine. Most of which I stripped off my old one. Speaking of the old one, this is the old one. It has to live up to this one.
I had 103K on my first one when my BIL took it out and didn't negotiate a curve up in VT. He's okay, but the bike took a beating, and was totaled. I bought a Valkyrie Interstate, but it just wasn't the same as this model, which they call the Tourer. Big, so not for everyone, but very well balanced. The weight disappears as soon as you get your feet up on the boards.
That's true. But Honda made a minor change in 2000 they changed the seat to make it a bit more friendly, and they also clear coasted the wheels. But I always kept up with my wheels. I like getting down and dirty with them.
He didn't spare a dime on it either, those pipes are the most expensive pipes you could buy for one of those and today he tells me, "oh, I have the stockers in my garage, I'll bring them in and you can have those too. They are worth some big bucks on eBay.. but he's selling them to me just in case I prefer them. (Always nice to have choices) Guy was just glad he found someone to buy that would care for it. He also traded in a 06 Goldwing to buy the new one he purchased.
What is amazing to me (besides their abilities) is the weight of these machines. Something close to 150#!
