I don’t know if this is allowed here but I am selling my old black beauty. It’s a 2013 Honda VT1300 Stateline with 12,700 miles.
If you know of anyone who wants a metric cruiser send em my way with 45 Nashvilles.

 

Mines in a sad state at the moment. Cylinder is at Millennium Technology's getting a replate and fitted for a new piston. Figured while it was there I might as well get them to do a woods port job. Hopefully I'll see that in a week or two. In the meantime it's grease, clean, and adjust what can be.

Bike parts that need coated/painted.



Found a paint called Cerakote. They offer a clear that's supposedly supposed to stick to bare aluminum. Curiosity got the best of me and I coated these parts plus the swingarm with it. I'll be interested in seeing how it holds up.

 

New piston and replated/ported cylinder.

 

Some color tonight. A few other parts are hanging.

 

Can always tell a guys marital status when they work on their bikes in the winter...

So I'm looking at buying a new bike, but the Aprilia tuono valve maintenance schedule is pretty low for mileage. 12,500 . The Yamaha MT 10 sp is double that at 24-26000 miles. I'm used to the Japanese valve check and adjustment schedule. Maybe I just use the good towels and do the check and shim in winter in the living room after the Christmas tree is out? I'm married, so not sure how that will fly. The wife thinks the tuono is a beautiful bike. Should I see how far that flies?
