Good luck Tstew! Funny thing is I've got more miles this year on my Gary Fisher than I do on my motorcycle. That's about to change soon.
here's the street bike i owned the longest, first year 1971 cb500 four, i owned it for 32 years before handing the keys to my son three years ago, that's him on the day i gave him the keys, it's due for good go over again, but still runs excellent..........
other than my atv's, i've reduced myself to my little ct70h to put around on, i bought it from the original purchaser 13 years ago, still in great shape and starts first kick every time.............
Nice sprint ST! A speed triple was one of the 4 bikes ( and a sprint st) I was considering when I decided on my TLS. I always liked the big triples. How has it treated you? How long have you had it?
bought it oct 09, it had 8600 miles on it. Rolled over 39000 on monday. No complants, just a great bike!
I'm in Johnstown, you've already "met" my brother TurboDiesel in Scotch Valley. My last bikes were a Honda Pacific Coast and a Honda ST1100. (I gave them up till the kids are out of college.)
Wow Old. I love the trail 70. We had one just like it growing up. I started on a trail 50. Then graduated to the 70. Then to the 90. We had three 90's. We beat the tar out of those hondas.
yeah, the CT70's are pretty cool, i had also owned a nice '71 "emerald green" one several years ago, but sold it because the '72/73 models have much better front suspension and a wider handle bar stance that makes riding these little minis much more fun, my '72 actually fits me like a glove, one of those kinda bikes that make you not want to sell it........................a pic of a '71 model
been having a hard time not wanting to respond to this nearby c-list post.............. View attachment 57930
I really love the sound of those inline fours, especially with an aftermarket pipe. Back in the day all the guys i knew had the Kerker headers. What a sound! Most had the baffles out of them [insert emoticon with hands over ears here]
did you miss my post just above my ct 70?, that's my '71 Honda cb500 four, with a kerker, yep, there's no better sound..............
