It looks great. I can’t wait to see it once the FHC emblem gets painted on the front.

From that height and angle the wood castles look like a VA cemetery.

    Ridge capping going on.

Russell measured and drew up the flashing to be made, fitted the spouting and down pipes just in time for the rain Saturday morning.

    Like a bomb shelter...
12" blocks under ground. 10" extra heavy blocks above ground.
really got interesting when I put the block walls on 16" x 16' steel (beam) lentils over the doors.

I did not like the colour of the pvc downpipes so Russell got some flashing made to cover them. I think it looks gooder.

I agree on the downspouts. They really stood out before the flashing went on.

No water barrels on down spouts!! Shame on you;)

So Others understand, most of the groundwater in Australia, has a higher salt and mineral content than the ocean. It's common practice to collect rainwater off a roof... Which I'm sure leoht will do once construction is finished..

I assumed that big green tank in the background might be collected water.

I'm waiting on how they finish the floor.
They usually build the floor and foundation first before anything here. :)

Yes Canadian border VT before next winter I plan to do some more earthmoving and put all the plumbing underground and have a riser back up to a new water tank somewhere, I just need to decide where I will put it. My existing tank is currently full.

    Yes billb3 you are correct.

Thursday Russell and Jake fitted the PA door and finished the sky door / heat vent hatch / roof access hatch.

They also finished the mezzanine framework.

Ok, color me crazy I guess, but why is the mezzanine on the wall with the door?

Seems to me that it would be better on the fully enclosed wall.
    :sherlock:

I assume/hope that it is tall enough that you will still be able to drive your equipment under it.

Other than that, I think it looks awesome.

    OK, you're crazy. :D
Looks like a good way of having access to both sides...maybe put things up there with a loader or forklift from outside...looks handy to me!
