Ended up getting a WoodlandPRO TimberMAX Bar & Chain Combo from Baileys

 

I had a logger one time that ran woodland. He said no problem

 

I bought 4 arbor tech bars about 6 months ago. I have used 2. They have only had about 4 tanks through them a piece but they show absolutely no wear yet and they oil well. For the price they are selling them I think it's a steal. I had to by 5 bars to justify shipping. The bar and chain combos are the best deal!!!!!

 

They never have the bar I want either and if they do the with their shipping cost I can get it at the stihlership for about the same money.

 

I guess I am the only one who buys bar and chain combos for a deal and then looks for more saws to fit them.

 

A deal is a deal only if you have use for it, depending on how much wood you have to cut.

 

Rock, you are right! If they were going to be garage decorations it wouldn't be a deal. But in my next 30-50 years of cutting wood I will wear them out. $100 for 5 bars and 2 chains is money well spent for me.I understand you are older and think they might never be used but in that thinking, do you need 7 chainsaws? Do you need 20 cord of firewood? Were they deals? I think of it as being prepared for the future..isn't that what hoarding is about?
