Leaves are falling

There were a few birch leaves in the yard today while I was moing as well. The maples have started to turn. It was still 80 and humid today! It has cooled off nicely with the sun down. Uh oh dark at 7:30 ! It's happening

Got dry enough to mow/bag leaves from the yard for compost today
Hopefully only one more mowing this year
Windy , more falling.

 

Only thing here changing is the Poplar, everything else is still green

 

Pecan and hackberry are dropping here. I got leaves all over my yard and carport.

The maple are starting to barely change, the sycamore are changing as well.

 

Been told that the ocean temps in the Gulf of Maine are warmer. That's where we get a lot of our weather. However, the leaves are turning early this fall. Go figure.

 

Believe it or not they birch leaves have been falling in southeast Tennessee for about 3 weeks. Farmers almanac is calling for a bad winter in these parts.
