    So about this leaf blower mod... I got how to put one together, but I have a question.

    While the leaf blower is running and pulling the crap out of the system, do you agitate (brush) the flue at the same time, or is all that crap being pulled out simply because of the vacuum?

    In other words... Do you stick a liner cleaning brush up the flue and work it around while the blower is running, or not bother? Just let the blower do all the work?

    I pass the brush in the flue from outside and then I do the LBT. but that's me. You got to post a video, part of the rules:D

    Thanks guys. That makes sense. And yes, I'll follow the rules if I try this.

    I'm not sure I'll ever try though... I've got a two story chimney and an uncomfortably steep roof. If I can't come up with a safe way to reach the top of the chimney, I'll have to get someone else in here to take care of it. And I don't think I could convince them to use the leaf blower. :whistle:
