    Won't take much to bet my "cold" temps this morning. Sitting at -2 feeling like -13 is the best the cold muster; pathetic. Almost 4" fresh snow.

    May even head out and do some (more) truck shopping today!

    Extreme Cold Warning in effect for:

    • Barry's Bay - Killaloe
    • Petawawa - Pembroke - Cobden
    • Renfrew - Arnprior - Calabogie
    Bitterly cold wind chills near -35 are expected overnight and into Friday morning.

    Temperatures should rise Friday morning.

    Some areas in Eastern Ontario may experience these wind chills again Friday night into Saturday morning.

    Keep emergency supplies in your vehicle such as extra blankets and jumper cables.

    If it's too cold for you to stay outside, it's too cold for your pet to stay outside.

    Outdoor workers should take regularly scheduled breaks to warm up.

    Extreme cold warnings are issued when very cold temperatures or wind chill creates an elevated risk to health such as frost bite and hypothermia.

    Not gonna happen tonight with only -4°F and wind chills down to -25°F. Tomorrow nightwith lowes at -20°F, any winds will get us close.
