Large gravel ship docking

Wow. Very cool w.w.! I wish I had about 1/4 of that ship load of gravel right now! That would build me my whole road and help out on the trails on the land! LOFL

You're right, it would be expensive if it broke down. Bet it was designed to "never" break down… if you know what I mean. Anything (Titanic) can have issues, but I'll bet that conveyor system is bullet proof. Maybe Camp knows if it's ever stopped during a load.

 

Wait. I think it would do the whole road and the whole trail I have right now. LOL

 

And, you'd have enough left to make a road from Camp's place…

 

LOL. Well, that is over 3000 miles. So I don't know about that! But, it is a chitload of gravel at any rate.

 

650 truck loads of gravel. What a road!

You might need a couple more shiploads. I think 75000 yards at 2700/lbs/yard works out to about 115 miles at 22 feet wide and 1" deep. Spread it thinner and you get a little further.

 

Well. I think a 10 wheeler can haul 20 ton of gravel. Sound right?

 

All I would need is about 1.5 miles of 3" deep, 12 feet wide. That would make a dam nice road, and then a good base for the 1.1 mile trail. That's all.
