I think you'll get more snow then us, most of ours will start tomorrow. I did get the snowplow on the big truck so we're set for plowing.
It's coming down good here. It's 15 degrees outside and I just saw lightning and heard thunder. That doesn't happen too often. Gotta love lake effect snow.
Missed us last nite. Not a flake. 15 miles north of us is getting walloped and buffalo is getting pounded. Woot ! Go Bills ! NOT
Yes, I just saw this but I'm wondering what areas RRRRRR banned from travel. http://northcountrynow.com/news/she...nty-area-highway-departments-suspending-snow-
For a bit, with a big jump in temps coming Monday - Wednesday this won't be around long so I need a few areas next to the trails cleaned up before we start sledding. If I do anything it should be stacking, I'm thinking we have around two cord piled up.
I hope this won't come northeast. http://forecast.weather.gov/showsig...ement&lat=44.26237&lon=-75.70282#.VGuNJvnF9OI
Zap, we ended up with probably another 20" (conservative). Looks like those poor dogs south of buffalo are getting hammered! Can't wait till they freeze! (lakes)
The snow on the ground does not correspond to the total amount fallen...thank goodness! Ground is not frozen yet and also the weight of the snow helps in settling and compacting along with the ground temp doing it's giving off heat thing to the bottom layer.
the deck railing is 54" above ground for reference. The second pic is one of woodpile that answers the question "To cover or not". It is just a touch over 7' tall of wood.
They are saying that areas around Buffalo could have in excess of 2 Meters (39"/meter) by friday. UUUGGGHHHHH!!!!!!!
Woodlands. You aren't getting that much snow up your way are you? We only got about 3 inches yesterday, maybe 4, but it warmed up enough last night that prolly half of it melted away.
