We've had pasties in Wisconsin, the UP (with gravy) and Ontario. Occasionally see them in maine on the northern border. Have had poutine in all those places also (and northern NY)
Yes the English have bigger tails. Or coffee table cleaners this ones 105 lbs should be 90 or so.. but literally does 5+ mile a day hikes
friend of mine is picking new pup this weekend, somewhere west of Madison, Red Lab. he has one already think about 4 or 5 now.
What breeder? I looked at so many it was mind boggling. there was a breeder out there I was considering. They had many fox reds. . Yeah fox reds are popular. Badger is a fox red American lab, but he's much lighter than the momma I posted for this litter. Not certain if we're going with one of the two lighter ones, or a fox red.
Thx for that.. I fully understand that there things I'm unaware of, hence the post/question. Looks good. So.. the "original" hot pocket? Reminds me of a meat calzone. Many places make a calzone that is basically a closed/folded pizza, but I've had them where it's more like a Philly cheesesteak.
There's calzones, and strombolis. Calzones typically have ricotta in them. Strombolis don't, and IMHO are better because they don't have it. A good one of either is different enough than just a folded over pizza Yes, pasties are the original hot pocket.
You are indeed correct. I believe it was steak/cheese stromboli, not calzone. Although, around here, it is unfortunately folded pizza mainly. I don't mind ricotta, but it's a "take it or leave it" scenario for me. Chazsbetterhalf isn't a fan, so I leave it out of my lasagna. My sister likes cottage cheese in hers, I am NOT a fan of cottage cheese.
No, we're not naming the pup "stromboli". My wife isn't a big fan of 'zones or stroli's. Now guess what I'm craving.... I'm not even hungry.
As children, my brothers and I used the intercom from ones if the bedrooms to the front porch speaker to blast out "We want Pizza!!" into the street as people walked by. So, BTDT.

I was wondering the same thing. Our two boys are still wearing their colors from when they were pups. Yellow on one and red on the other. Going to keep it that way. Gives us a quick ID since they look almost identical.
the girls are about 9 now and yep still using the same color scheme blue on Sky and red on Bell ( Bell has truly lived up to her name- always the first to sound off if something/ someone approaches. I refer to her as my automatic door Bell. Dang ,time flies past so quick.
Not certain yet, we've got first pick, and we really don't need to pick until pick up day. There's videos on the kennels's FB page if you want to see what we're working with now that they are starting to get personalities. Sunflower kennels I like the lightest colored one, with the black collar, as well as the one with the teal/ light blue collar. My wife also likes the teal/ light blue collared one and the grey collared one. I think the biggest question will be do we want a dark fox red pup like momma, or the lighter one like the papa? None will be white like William was, but the black collar pup will be very light yellow, almost white maybe. We both want a big dog. I like the quick dog differentiation of one lighter than Badger's fox red color, but I also think that all these red pups will be darker than Badger.
