    The main course...
Cole slaw, ribs, mac & cheese, cowboy baked beans 20250901_180210.jpg
Ribs so tender, bone fell out of the middle when I picked it up...

We wish all of you a HAPPY LABOR DAY

No cookouts here...I decided to do the 100k service on my wife's van (timing belt is a big part of it) and that killed most of the day Saturday and then yesterday too. There was one particular bolt that decided it wasn't budging, it took 4 hours, but I convinced it to cooperate. Turns out there's a special tool for that, which I didn't have, and couldn't get this weekend, at least not reasonably priced. I messaged my buddy who is a 25 year auto mechanic to see if they had one, he said they usually do it the way I did. Hmm, if I were him I'd have the tool! (Flat rate work)
Looks like y'all were eating good!

Younger Son and DIL invited us to celebrate Labor Day with them. He did the two Boston Butts, said since I did them for 4th he would do this one! Excellent pulled pork, may have to just pass the torch to him for the smoking:thumbs: Sides were Mac & cheese, coleslaw with banana pudding for dessert. Yum!!!

You all are making me hungry. I didn't cook up anything special for the weekend.
