He always cooks me a good meal. He does the cooking and I take care of clean up. I don't think he really thought of me trying to learn hand signals. He was going fast but I also had to figure out which way I needed to go on the controls. "Toe cook"???

Swing the bucket to one side, Chaz won't have to tote the wood as far to the bucket.

That’s smart. A coworker hit me with the bucket on Friday it wasn’t full force and I was watching and had an escape rout luckily. I kinda snapped on him. You have to worry about yourself, the machine and the people around you when you are in the seat. This guy is careless I’ll be staying away when he is operating.

Well right now I am seeing the hand signals but once he gives em to me I am now looking at the bucket because I am still learning and sometimes move the lever in the opposite direction. But we are working it.

    X2 ^^^

Careless workers make for a hazardous work area.

I actually got a bit careless today... was hand feeding a smaller branch, and didn't have it spanning the bucket.. told her to close, and got whacked by the branch.

She did everything right, I didn't focus enough.

Needless to say, that will not be happening again

I put a 3” pvc pipe through the torsion tube on the loader. One end has a cap that I will screw to the pipe to fasten it and the other end is held in with the pin. Just pull the pin and slide the pipe out. I need to cut the pipe in half lengthwise so there is an opening for storage of a chain. I’ll post more pics when I’m done, of course the caps will be painted orange.

Had me going for a minute-thought that was an oil filter that you put in the loader cross member. Looks like it will be a great place for chain storage.
