I've never seen an all black Bobcat. All of the ones I've seen (including the ones we've had on the farm) are white and orange. Guess I need to get out more :emb:

I'm pretty sure this one was painted specifically to match all the other equipment used by the previous company/owner. I can tell you it wasn't my favorite color working inside the thing in July.

Interesting... That's the one thing I really like about this machine, the engine looks well made & well laid out. Unlike the diesel in my GMC truck, which is a nightmare.

Ok guys I’m looking for some advice/suggestions. I have a bh77 on the bota, I may have been lifting some stuff that was real heavy and driving around with it pinched in the bucket. Now the boom doesn't seem to have the lifting power it used to and it will intermittently dive in the dirt when digging. Some times if I shut the tractor off and restart it seems to get better but will happen again pretty quick. All other functions work properly.
My thoughts are the spool valve may be messed up or that there might be a pressure relief valve issue. Any thoughts or suggestions are appreciated.

There's a circuit or valving that is part of what's called a "re generate" circuit. It re fills the other side of your loader cylinders with oil while lowering or dumping with a load while not all the way in a dump position with your valve, in other words "drifting" that would leave your cylinders empty or not completely full on the other (lift or curl up) side with an annoying dead spot until they get filled. I don't fully understand how it works. But long story short, our loader valves are not simple 2 spool/function valves like you'd find on a log splitter with a log lift.
I'll run my loader up/down and the same with the bucket curl up/down (full stroke) repeatedly with the valve completely in the power position when things seem to be a little weird.
My valve acts weird after a winter of running my (frame mounted) V snow plow. The factory loader valve stays with the tractor when you remove the loader. I use that valve to operate the independent left/right "wings" of the plow. The cylinders on each wing are double acting, and work fine, so does the loader when I put it back on in the spring. I just get a weird situation when I'm simultaneously lowering the loader and returning the bucket to level from dump. All is fine if only using 1 function at a time.

Wow that's a lot of talk to say try "exercising" your valve with no load, full stroke of the cylinders with the valve fully in the desired direction.
I'd like to find someone to explain this hyd. Circuit to me, I doubt that the dealer knows much more than I do, particularly when I explain my winter use of the valve.

Took a day off today and started working on moving and spreading this 22 ton pile of stone. Also scored a bucket of dead, dry oak. 20190919_143259.jpg 20190919_141727.jpg

Yes, I guess I can show you what to expect. o_O

How deep is that rabbit hole you ask? Hmmm, the 3pt post hole digger didn't get far enough down the rabbit hole.... I guess we'll try a backhoe?

Just for reference, my barn is 28x56 and I really don't have a lot of stuff and it is fairly full!
