Progressing slowly and with ridiculous amounts of sweat. I had to clean out the trenches again today again today after 4+ " of rain yesterday. Then got the geotextile laid down and started to put in a base of stone. Still needs the pipe and a whole lot more stone...

I was wondering where that came from.

Right now just a 24' long stacking area that's preferably not on a slope.

Well Seasoned it must've taken quite a bit of time to level all the area for your pole barn.
    :hair:

On a larger project, I'll likely look into renting something better equipped for the job, or hiring someone to level things.

Drainage is another project I've started on, but haven't ordered the gravel yet to finish up.

Some slight grading yes, more to do, then when the build is finished, I'll do a final grade, likely in thr spring, we'll see.

Nice work mike bayerl! To bad on the heavy rains.

Rather hit the grass at the end. Hay bales are harder then they look if your moving fast enough.

If the hand throttle can be considered cruise control I got one thing from that list. Tractors have become luxury rides in the 30+ years since ares wad built.

Nice work Well Seasoned , it looks like we could be in for a rainy second half of the week. For our area on Thursday, they're calling for over 1.3 inches of rain.

Got in contact with Rimguard and found a distributor ~35 minutes from here.

Took a ride out yesterday morning to get 15 gallons for the tractor. I had called the place earlier in the week and was informed that they do have it, I inquired about price to fill the tires, $50-60 per tire. Seen videos on DIY, and figured I'd save some $$.

So I tell the guy that I would like 15 G of Rimguard, he says OK, you do have containers right?

    o_O

Umm, no. I was under the impression that it was sold in 5G buckets.

So, I figure I'll head home, get some containers and go back next weekend.

Start down the road and decide that I could just stop and get 3 5G gas containers.

    Well, that cost $78.

Aside from another trip up the road, I didn't save much.

    :rofl: :lol::rofl: :lol:

But I have the Rimguard, and will now concentrate on setting up a system to fill the tires.

It's also been mentioned in the video that it's best to replace the standard rubber valve stem with metal ones.

Have you all changed your valve stems?
