I've started moving wood to the shed for next year. Between yesterday and today 3 loads like this (small trailer and loader bucket) that I've stacked under roof. I hope to be half way done moving next year to the shed at the end of burning season.

Jeaolous! You seem to have dry-ish ground. We are a swamp right now. Lots of rain last night and melting snow at the same time.

Bahahaha, nope. It is soooooo wet.

That pic was on top of the hill. Very muddy here. I'm trying to be gentle and not rut up too much. I have done enough damage getting my logs out for the firewood processor preparation a couple of weeks ago. I am hopeful for some dry up soon too.

The pond you see in the background usually only exits out of the emergency spillway when we have hurricanes. This last year it has gone out there almost every time it rains...
    :singingintherain:

The primary pipe and secondary pipes have been flowing like firehouses for almost a year. The emergency spillway is the third and last protection. It is flowing like a creek again today.
    :hair:

If a guy was looking for work around here, he could make a mint this summer hauling stone for driveways!

That makes more sense. I know you are not too far from me and it's been super wet for over a year now.

Just got the BX1870 and had time to play before dark. There will be a learning curve with this.

Congrats! Yes learning curve for sure. The learning never stops. I keep the seat belt on at all times after having a load in the bucket and the front tire just grazed a hole and I nearly rolled. Scared the crap outta me! Have fun, you'll wonder how you got anything done without it before!

I have hade a B7610 for about 10 years. Its been a great little tractor and has done allot of work around our home. Great advice from Well Seasoned about Keeping the seatbelt on. I have made it a habit even when mowing my field. We had a guy near us get killed because he flipped his tractor over. He was found under it. 100_0563.JPG

VERY GOOD SUGGESTION WITH THE SEAT BELT !!!!! Any tractor n ESPECIALLY the sub compact have a narrow stance . Had mine tip several time with a bucket of stone goin around a corner that was sloped (had bucket too high). It makes ur ahole pucker for sure.
Keep a loaded bucket low as possible as you can while moving especially....

Today was a good day to get some cleaning out of a drainage ditch done. Unfortunately I only had s few hours to work on it. But good progress was made. This was about 3/4 of what I got done. Hopefully I can get some more done tomorrow. The M59 is running and working beautifully. :)

Anybody got an opinion on this boom pole as far as skidding logs?
(Kubota BX25D with FEL as forward ballast)

CountyLine Boom Pole at Tractor Supply Co.

I think this could provide other uses as well, whereas an ATV log arch is limited to it's intended purpose.

    And a few duckets more.

Thanks. I’ll use the spoils to build up low spots on the trails.

Looks handy for a flat, level, firm yard. Way too long a lever for using elsewhere.

    Thank you, opinion noted.
    We'll give it a -1

My place is far from flat and level.
    One reason. I'm asking.

    E Box Blade.jpg

Here is one that I snuck of my sometimes helper ripping up the holes in the driveway last night. He got to do the "demolition" phase with the rippers on the box blade all the way down. Later on we put the rippers further up and actually leveled it out better with the box.

We somehow had 5 days without rain! But, it is a frog strangler again today. But, hey, at least we got some of it worked beforehand.

    :tractor:

The 5' box blade works out well and is just wider than the R4's on the rear of the L3901.
