Can't remember if you turn them into firewood or have them milled for lumber??

We were taking the pine logs to the local chip mill, that deal turned sour because of another tree service dumping short wood...look on the "pines, pines galore" thread.
Good Lord provided another outlet. 2 brothers run a small mill building pallets, they have gotten 1 load so far, pay us a little bit.

Yep, it was pretty dusty. The small hand held blower cleaned it up nicely

Kinda curious, do you notice any difference or better traction with the new style "Titan" tires? I haven't used mine enough to tell anything... ;)

Spent sometime in the mini ex this weekend during the rain. We’ve got close to 2” of rain in the last 4 days, at least it was nice yesterday.
Working on stumping and picking up debris on the last acre of the field. It was tall thin pine trees that grew to 4”-8” dia and then died and fell over. Wife called it the toothpick area as we walked by. When the loggers were here they took the big trees and whatever they could drag to the chipper. Everything else got driven over. It’s a mess of an area to clean up, might be able to get a tractor on it in July if it dries out. The poplar sprouts are pushing 15’ tall in 3.5 yrs, and they really need to go. IMG_5861.jpeg
    Decent sized pine stump.

Thanks! It’s a sloppy wet muddy mess right now, but that will change. I’d like to be finishing my new irrigation pond, but it’s way to wet to have the mini ex near the pond banks. It’s also been the coldest May in ME for almost a 100 yrs, and way more rain than normal as well.

Kubota folks, I have a question if you have the "REGEN" system. I don't have a 1/2 a tank of fuel burn't through mine yet, and the Regen lights all came on yesterday after 14.6 hours. This sounds a bit premature but I haven't used the machine hard at all. Does this sound right to any of you? o_O:confused:

If you run it easy it will be shorter times between regens. Keep the RPMs up and let'er eat.

    Pretty much this.

Idling for long times doesn’t help. Also starting and running for short periods of time also makes it want to regen more often. Usually the mini ex regens every 40-50 hrs.

My JD tractor will regen in 20 hrs if I’m just doing wood chipping or light loader work. Pulling a disc, or skidding wood you can watch the filter level go down over the day. They like to be worked hard. It’s gone 40 hrs between regens a few times.

This is my fault here. I don't let it idle, but all my stuff has been short running times! :headbang:

I think ours has regened twice already, almost 70 hrs on it. It just needs to build some heat to burn off. Just rev it up a bit more.
