Valve came in Saturday while I was at work, yep, got home about 7:30 PM, like a kid at Christmas. Worked till 10:30PM, got old valve off and new valve mounted and lines run. Had to modify the bracket a little for our tractor. Started about 8:30 last night, mounted the control knob and getting the wiring done. Tucked away nicely under the dash. Tried it out, works the grapple good. Just waiting on the adapter mount to come in, hopefully this week
That’ll be nice to have it done like you want it to be. Worth the wait! Can’t wait to see pics of it workin hard
Did some tractoring this weekend. Put in some drain tile where my sawmill and edger are at, then stuck some of that driveway fabric over the top and covered it with stone. Before picture showing how wet it gets: After stone is spread: In this picture you can see the drain tile marker on the lower left (yellow fiberglass stake) A couple of videos of some stone spreading:
Found out Thursday, the QA conversion plate STILL hasn't come in...... Ordered it Jan 26th, with 4 week lead time was told we might get it in March sometime...... I emailed corporate Customer service tonight. Don't know if it will do any good...
Yes sir. That's where I got my 3rd function valve from. I called them, ATI brand is 7 WEEKS out. Lady was going to check with Kubota, she still hasn't replied. Last I heard, Kubota was 4 wks... I sent corporate Customer service and email.
Celebration time, come on... Persistent pays off. A blessing from the Good Lord above. I contacted my closest Kubota dealer again and he wasnt sure when he could get the QA plate for the LA513 loader either. But he did a little measuring and found out the plate for the LA524/525 was the same size. He had a tractor there that had a blown engine, insurance got the guy a new tractor, but not loader. He had bent the connection rod between the plates and wanted a new one. Dealer said they fix them often. They cut and rewelded the rod. We picked it up about lunchtime yesterday. I had to trim about 1/4" off the top edge of the loader arms so it would do full back curl and the curl stop works great... Online was $885-$975, dealer was $575-$650. We got this one for $225. I will probably have that rod replaced with new solid piece later. But it works for now. Odd shaped piece of oak Testing it on the big pecan log. Did pretty good, need to adjust my hydraulic pressure a bit. Moving some big chunks Works good on the bark/trash pile.
This is the repair job they did. It's functional as is, but you can see why I really want to change it.
